Supplement your resume with a well-structured selection criteria
Selection Criteria Service for APS / Government Applications
BESPOKE SELECTION CRITERIA TO SHOWCASE YOUR KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Key selection criteria (KSC) are typically used in the Australian Public Sector by Government agencies, as well as in the education and not-for-profit sector. Well-written selection criteria statements with supporting examples are your key to getting noticed and securing an interview with the selection panel.
Each statement that we write is targeted for you and to the position. We use specific situations that accurately respond to the questions, while taking into account the role description and the Integrated Leadership System (ILS). Each response is maximum half a page long and in between 250 and 300 words.
Please note: Other APS roles require either a statement of claims (usually maximum of 2 pages) or pitch (1-2 pages). This type of service falls under our cover letter service.

Selection Criteria Writing Service
We offer a straightforward process to prepare your selection criteria statements that get noticed by your employers in the APS. Here’s how our service works:
-
Documents.
Send us your current resume and old selection criteria (if any). Also send the link to the role you’re applying for, which should include the selection criteria to be addressed and the application closing date.
-
Touch Base.
Once we’ve received your files, we may contact you through phone or email for clarifications. We require full payment upfront to confirm you booking and before we proceed with any work.
-
Drafting.
Once we have all the required information, we start working on the initial drafts. If there’s anything else we need to know while drafting, we get in touch through phone and/or email, or you’re free to call/email us anytime if you have concerns.
-
Delivery.
You’ll receive your first drafts documents via email in 3 days (except Sunday as our Writing and Editing Teams are off). You’ll then have 14 days (or until the job ad closing date, whichever comes first) to review the first drafts and request for potential amendments. Read about our policy on amendments here.
-
Finalise.
Once you’ve made your review of your new documents, we then make those changes in less than 24 hours (Sunday excluded).
